I have been blessed to be the Director of Children’s Ministries at First United Methodist Church since 2007.  As a public school teacher for 32 years, I  worked with many children in the special programs and Title I reading departments. 

Bob and I have been married for over 36 years and we have 3 grown children.  Our daughter, Kristin, will soon be married to Chris Wages.  Eric and his wife Desi have 2 boys. Matthew and his wife Heather have one son.  We love playing with our 3 grandchildren. We also enjoy going on mission trips, traveling and fishing the beautiful Ozarks lakes and streams.

As Director or the Children’s Ministry department, I embrace our church’s mission of:

        Inviting and connecting people to Jesus

       Forming committed Christian Disciples

       Sending them out to serve in Christ's name

 Our Kingdom Kids and Friendship Circle programs incorporate these principals in our curriculum and activities. Be sure and check out these programs on our web-site.
