Serving through compassionate care

Adult ministries

In the quiet corners of our church, some of the most powerful ministry happens - not from a pulpit, but through presence.  Adult ministries like bereavement support, prayer teams, and congregational care embody the heart of Christ by walking with others through seasons of grief, struggle, and healing.

Congregational Care

Every person in our church is family and matters to us.  We provide support, meals, encouragement, prayers, visits, communication through phone calls and cards, and other care. If you would like support, please contact the church office, or fill out the prayer request tear-off in the bulletin on Sunday.  Also, many members are involved in the care team, so you can reach out, and you won't need to reach far to find someone.

If you would like to join the care team, please contact Carol Powell or Sue Kimberlin, or submit the VOLUNTEER form below:

bereavement ministries

Our Bereavement Ministry offers tender care to families walking through loss.  We prepare and serve a comforting meal for the immediate family before or after a funeral or memorial service, creating a peaceful space filled with homemade food, thoughtful decor, and seasonal flowers.  Our volunteers - both women and men - serve with quiet compassion, honoring each family and reflecting Christ's love in their time of grief.

Prayer Team

Our Prayer Team is devoted to lifting our church family before the Lord with faith and compassion.  We pray throughout the week for the needs of our congregation, our community, and the world, trusting in God's power to heal, guide, and renew.  If you feel called to intercede for others, we invite you to join this gentle, Spirit-let ministry.

To volunteer, contact Sue Kimberlan or Joy Ross or submit the VOLUNTEER form.
